|We’re doing all things 50s so break out those poodle skirts and Pink Ladies’ jackets, ladies, and gentlemen, roll up those jeans, don a leather jacket, and slick back your hair. Special events throughout the conference culminate in Tuesday’s night’s phenomenal Sock Hop complete with dance and costume contests, hula hoops, and soda fountains! Once again, chapters are encouraged to incorporate the Monday Night Social event into their separate chapter gatherings. |

|Submit your SHAPE Report by January 31|
|Your completed 2016 SHAPE Report is due on or before January 31, 2017. This is parts one and two of the form; the portions of the report pertaining to the Excel Awards are not due until March 15. All reports must be submitted online, and only those submitted online will be accepted.

| Discounted Rate for SHRM National Conference available to Chapter leaders|

|HR Florida has established a new award called the Community Impact Award for 2017. This award will recognize a chapter for having significant influence and impact on the greater community.
|Apply for SHRM Scholarships|
|The SHRM Foundation is the educational and charitable arm of SHRM. In addition to conducting and publicizing research in the HR field and providing educational resources to chapters and members, in 2016, the SHRM Foundation gave 325 scholarships worth more than $300,000 to members.
