During a pivotal time for the workforce, SHRM is hosting a global conversation on three of the most critical issues that affect employees and employers every day: closing the skills gap, getting business immigration right and addressing workplace harassment.

November is National Family Caregivers Month, a time to honor and focus on the needs of the many caregivers among us. While we often stereotype caregivers as providing senior care, there are many health issues that encompass caregiving: special needs children, autism, cancer and life-threatening illnesses, brain injuries, ALS, MS, Alzheimer’s Disease and many other health conditions.

Kris Boesch Boesch is the CEO and founder of Choose People, a company that transforms company cultures, increases happiness, and boosts the bottom-line. In this highly interactive presentation, she will weave insightful content, memorable stories and tactical tools to take your company’s culture to the next terrace.

During our last council meeting, HR Florida proudly recognized Dorothy Knapp for the many years she has supported HR Florida as SHRM’s Field Service Director. Dorothy officially retired on August 28, 2018, and we are proud to say that she spent her last official day on the job attending the HR Florida State Conference.
SHRM annually recognizes the states with 100% giving from the SHRM state council and all chapters with in the state.
