Going Green and the Environment

If you attended a conference lately, you may have noticed some changes as organizations make the effort to become more environmentally friendly. At the HR Florida conference this year, we made many changes, including not printing handouts, utilizing recyclable tote bags in lieu of conference bags, distributing reusable water bottles at registration, and utilizing water stations instead of bottles of water. HR Florida also supported the Suncoast Seabird Sanctuary as part of our fundraising efforts and was able to raise $1,741 on their behalf.
