Charlotte County SHRM is presenting the area’s first Career Event to provide resources to Small Business Owners. There are four Workshops scheduled for the day that experienced HR Professionals from Charlotte County SHRM will provide.
The South Brevard SHRM chapter is partnering with CareerSource Brevard, Melbourne Regional Chamber of East Central Florida, and Ford Harrison for 2 Employment Law Workshops. The workshops will be provided at no cost.

The Greater Orlando Society for Human Resource Management (GOSHRM) is excited to host two networking events in August and September. The popularity of our members-only networking night -- this year at The Pub at Pointe Orlando on August 18th -- increases annually. This year, we anticipate a record 100 attendees. The event is free for chapter members and includes appetizers, drinks and valet parking at the popular International Drive venue.

At their July meeting, Volusia/Flagler SHRM hosted an informative program presented by Chad Sorenson, SPHR on Developing Leaders through Strategic Performance Management and Engagement. Chad is the President-Elect of Jacksonville SHRM and President of Adaptive HR Solutions.

Shari Bruns passed the PHR exam earlier this summer! This brings to six the number of newly certified professionals that the Chapter has this year, with the others being Jennifer Cantrell and Mallory Whalen – PHR, and Leanne Lloyd, Tami Manard and Janet Chalk – SPHR.
