2019 is off to a great start for the HR Florida State Council, which has been honored with the Seven Seals Award from the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR), a U.S. Department of Defense program, for its meritorious leadership and support of men and women who serve our country as part of the National Guard and Reserve. HR Florida State Council President Heather Deyrieux had the pleasure of accepting the award on the Council’s behalf on January 3rd at the January council dinner at SeaWorld Marriott in Orlando.
“The Council is honored to receive this prestigious award,” Deyrieux stated. “We are fortunate to work with HR professionals from all walks of life, and are exceptionally grateful to have the opportunity to work with those who have served our country and now play a significant role in our civilian workforce. Their leadership and dedication to their jobs and communities is like no other.”
According to ESGR, “The Seven Seals Award is the broadest and most inclusive award given by ESGR and is presented at the discretion of the State Chair or by ESGR senior leadership. The Seven Seals Award is presented in recognition of significant individual or organizational achievement, initiative, or support that promotes and supports the ESGR mission, to include the efforts of the more than 4,500 volunteers who carry out ESGR’s mission across the Nation on a daily basis.” The award’s name recognizes seven Military Reserve Components: Army National Guard, Army Reserve, Marine Corps Reserve, Navy Reserve, Air National Guard, Air Force Reserve, and the Coast Guard Reserve.
The Council will continue to be a leader for the men and women who serve America and are an important part of today’s workforce.
