District 3 was in top form on July 11, 2019 when the WWF program kickoff was held for SHRM Jacksonville. “It was our Mid-year Legal Update, and we had a strong turnout to promote Wellbeing Works Florida (WWF)."

Living and working in Florida has many advantages, but each year brings a new hurricane season and the threat of potentially damaging storms. An employer’s hurricane preparations should include awareness of the employment laws, which might be implicated in the event of a storm as well as planning to address storm-related issues.
HR Florida is partnering with Districts and Chapters around the state to bring valuable training to its members, at-large HR professionals, and business leaders.
The 8th Annual HR Florida State Council Legislative Conference took place March 27th and 28th. Nearly 90 HR professionals from around the state gathered in Tallahassee to lend their voices to advocate regarding pending state legislature impacting the workforce.
